Our team consists of four talented individuals: Tobian, Hanad, Tygo, and Emi. Tobian, Hanad, and Tygo are from the Netherlands and are students at GLR School, where they also serve as Digital Signage Engineers. On the other hand, Emi is from GBS School in Switzerland, contributing as a Graphic Designer. Together, our diverse team brings a unique blend of expertise and creativity to our collaborative projects.

On the first day of our journey, we met each other. In order to become better acquainted, we initiated a game where we had to share our qualities and collectively create a company. Once each of us had developed a company concept, we presented it to the rest of the group. Following our introductions, we all shared a meal, formed groups quickly, and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. After indulging in some drinks at a bar, we walked back to the hotel around 10:30 PM, engaging in a spirited snowball fight along the way. Exhausted from the day's activities, we retired for the night, knowing we had to wake up early the next morning.

On the second day of this week, we all gathered for breakfast together. After everyone was ready and dressed, we walked to the church to select a project and work on it. We were given the option to choose between the IoT Cube or the Dollhouse.

Tygo formed a group with Tobian, opting to work on the IoT Cube. As it was their first time working with it, they delved into understanding its function. They successfully created a code that activated the Cube's display and connected a sensor to measure temperature, displaying the readings on the screen. Additionally, they developed a dashboard that facilitated easy monitoring of the temperature on a laptop, complete with a visually appealing graph showcasing temperature trends over the past few days.

Hanad and Emi decided to work on the Dollhouse project. For the Dollhouse, we used Node-Red and gained insights into the functioning of a smart home. In Node-Red, different types of nodes were combined and connected to various parts of the dollhouse. For instance, we programmed it to send an email if a window was left open for more than 5 seconds.

After dedicating a few hours to these projects, Tobian, Tygo, and three others went up the mountain for a skiing adventure. Hanad took his first skiing lesson, while Emi enjoyed snowboarding with her friends. We were equipped with top-of-the-line gear for an optimal skiing experience. Following our skiing escapade, we returned to the hotel to quickly shower and change. Later, we headed back to the church (where we wokred at) for a guest lecture from a company specializing in weather data analysis. After the lecture, we returned to the hotel for dinner. Post-dinner, we engaged in a game of table football with a small group and then proceeded to the hotel bar, where we lingered late into the night, relishing drinks and sharing great moments together.

On the third day, we started with breakfast and then changed into our clothes before heading to the church to continue working on our IoT Cube. We had to form groups with people who had worked on the dollhouse, and Tobian and I formed a group with Hanad and Emily. However, they couldn't connect to their dollhouse, so we had to fix that first. Once that was sorted, we continued and attempted to connect the IoT Cube to Hanad and Emily's dollhouse, but unfortunately, it didn't work. We then went back to the hotel and had lunch together. After lunch, Tobian and I went skiing, taking on several slopes. Since we left earlier than the rest of the group, we encountered them at the ski lift, and we all formed one big group to enjoy skiing together. We also found a restaurant on the mountain where we all had some drinks.

Afterwards, we all returned to the hotel to change and get ready for dinner. Instead of eating at the hotel, we went to a fondue restaurant. Before the meal, we had a little party in the restaurant. We made a pact at our table that if someone dropped a piece of bread into the fondue, they had to climb the stripper pole and dance. TattooTom and Vincent were the only two in our group who had to pole dance, which was quite amusing. After the festivities in the restaurant, we took the bus back to the hotel. The bus ride was very entertaining as we sang and laughed throughout the entire journey. Once back at the hotel, a smaller group of us went to the bar and had some more drinks.

On the fourth day, we began, as usual, with breakfast. After eating, we headed to the church, where we continued working with the group we formed the day before. Our task was to connect the IoT Cube to the dollhouse. Once that was accomplished, Tobian and Tygo worked on integrating GPS into the IoT Cube to use it on the slopes the next day. To improve the signal, we placed a Lora outside in the parking lot.

Afterwards, we enjoyed some skiing before returning to the hotel to change and get ready for dinner. Following the meal, we went downstairs to watch a movie and later played cards with a group.

On the fifth day of our beautiful journey, just like every other day, we started with breakfast. After breakfast, we went to our rooms to quickly change. Once everyone was dressed, we headed to the church to continue working on the project. Our task was to create a business concept using the IoT Cube and the dollhouse. We came up with the idea of designing a collar with GPS and NFC capabilities, along with a corresponding app. The app would allow users to set a designated area where their dog or cat should stay, and if the pet goes beyond that area, the owner would receive a notification or a call to retrieve their pet. Additionally, we included NFC in the collar so that if the pet goes missing, anyone who finds it can scan the collar to access the owner's contact information and address.

After developing this plan, we had lunch and then went skiing again. Once done with skiing, we returned the equipment to the rental place. Following that, we packed our bags, ensured the room was clean, and everything was in its place. Later, we all had dinner together, played a card game, and then gathered for some drinks before heading to bed.

Sadly, the last day arrived. We had our final breakfast together and went up to the church for our final presentation. We presented our project and received some good feedback. Lunchtime came around, and the Dutch folks needed to slowly head to the airport. Everyone was really sad, but it was okay because we knew we would see each other again in Rotterdam.
